Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity Suspended at Central Michigan University

Mount Pleasant, Mich. – Effective immediately the Beta Xi Chapter of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity has been suspended indefinitely by Central Michigan University for failure to adhere to previously agreed upon sanctions and violation of section 3.2.19 of the Central Michigan University Code of Student Rights & Responsibilities.

During this suspension, Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity is prohibited from participating in any Central Michigan University events, programs, or any other social events as a student organization. In addition, their status as a registered student organization has been revoked. Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity will also be designated as an unrecognized organization on the Fraternity & Sorority Life website.

As outlined in the National Panhellenic Conference handbook, it is against the bylaws for NPC sororities to associate and partner with unrecognized organizations.
